Algorithmics Torreón, one of our partner centers in Mexico, competed in the
FIRST LEGO League for the very first time this year — and their young students came home with the
Core Values Award.
The Core Values Award is one of the competition's most meaningful recognitions. It is given not for the most advanced robot or the highest score, but for teamwork, respect, and embodying the true spirit of the competition throughout a project. In other words, it rewards exactly the skills that matter most in the real world.
For a center competing for the first time, this is a remarkable result — and a reflection of what happens inside an Algorithmics classroom. Children don't just learn to code; they learn to collaborate, solve problems together, and lead. Those are the values behind every
Algorithmics center worldwide.
Congratulations to the Torreón team and their students. This is the first of many wins to come. 🚀
